💜 Women’s History Month
A Reflection from the CEO of Passport Kisses
Women have always been integral to building society, shaping what we know, how we live, and what we pass forward, whether their names were recorded in history or quietly carried through legacy. Across science, art, politics, education, and entrepreneurship, women have always been present, always contributing, always holding more than most will ever see.
And in the everyday places that rarely get credited, women are still building, still leading, still nurturing, still making a way. We are the ones balancing careers and callings, businesses and degrees, households and partnerships, children and community, moving between roles with a kind of brilliance that often goes unnamed because it has become so expected.
I am that woman, and I know what it feels like to switch constantly, to hold multiple worlds at once, and to do it with grace even when it requires more of you than you ever planned to give. Women’s History Month, for me, is not only about honoring the women who came before us, but recognizing the women who are here now, carrying real responsibility with real excellence, while still deserving softness, relief, and room to breathe.
That is why I believe so deeply in travel, because it is not just movement, it is self-care, restoration, and expansion, and it gives a woman the space to reconnect with herself beyond her obligations. Travel introduces us to new cultures, new perspectives, and new ways of seeing life, and it reminds us that growth is not only something we achieve through work, but also something we experience when we allow ourselves to be fully present in the world.
This month, in honor of Women’s History Month, we are honoring women in our own Passport Kisses community, women who wear many hats, who often put others first, and who still chose to celebrate themselves through travel, trusting us to support them with care so they could experience the moment instead of managing it.
Because the woman hosting the moment deserves to experience it, not have to manage it.
